I got this ink and it only printed 8 pages and then started to fade. After 10 pages all the colors were so light I had to trash them.

Hi James I was sorry to hear that the cartridge did not print as many pages as you expected. It could be that you were printing several high-density printouts. High-density prints (like images and graphs) use more ink especially if the air is warm and dry. If it seems that the cartridge was low when you got it or the poor performance was due to a defect you can contact the seller about that. The HP Ink is always expensive but you know that the printer will accept it as genuine. I have tried several of the aftermarket cartridges and they are not worth the trouble.
