Don’t Let a Lower Price Influence You - Not Worth It

After using HP printers for years and years I’ve learned 2 things. They’re the best work horses in the market and cheap blue label cartridges are not worth the sacrifice of your printer. HP cartridges don’t leak and will save your printer for years to come.

I got this printer when an office was getting cleaned out & told it doesn’t work. I brought the printer home as I badly needed one and cleaned the printer cartridges & got it working until it had an error that the ink was empty. I took out the old cartridges (which leak out ink from the back!) & cleaned the cartridge holder really well with alcohol. I ordered a new ink cartridge set hoping that it’d work & not work for just a bit & give me the same error that the ink was out. The new cartridges are much improved from the old ones & have a different design in the back to not allow the ink to leak out the punctured hole as badly. Once everything was clean & with new cartridges I got the printer up & running. It took a while for the printer to start printing really clearly again-I think the ink sat in the cartridges holder & printer head for way too long & kinda messed up the print quality for several hundred pages. But now it’s dialed in to print a photograph of my dog in color!

Great volume...

The high yield black just keeps going and going and going. I use this for a small business. Sometimes my volume is very low and sometimes I have high volume teaching materials that I use for educational programs I use for marketing. If I have a high volume that doesn't need to be customized I email it to the local Staples store for printing. They always get it right unlike the local print shop that charged a fortune took forever and never got it right. When I customize materials I print from my hp. I've been impressed how long the cartridges last AND they work even when I haven't dome much printing for a while.
