I went to order ink a few weeks ago and went to one of my local electronic and office supply stores. They were out of some of the inks I needed for my HP office jet pro printer and suggested I try a generic product. They told me it was much less and worked the same. I was skeptical and asked him if it didn't work could I return it. He said that wouldn't be an problem. I also asked the girl when I checked out. I went home and tried to install the ink and a message came up on my computer saying there was a problem with the ink. I went back to the store and was told i could not return it. It took me several phone calls and letters to the Manger to return to generic ink. I did purchase HP ink and love the way it works. So easy to install and the printer works great now. I learned my lesson.

As long as this is a OEM ink cartridge replacement I am good with that. I do not have success with generic brands of ink cartridge.

Ink Cartridges produce great color !

I like the Large capacity HP 950XL Black ink cartridge that I don't have to change very often even though I print a lot of text. When I print color photos the "fine" printing required for photos uses a lot of ink but these cartridges have enough capacity to print a lot before they expire. The quality of the photo prints are pretty good even though my printer is not a PhotoSmart Printer.
