Convient way to buy replacement ink

This combo pack is a cheaper way to buy the cartridges than buying them individually. The XL black cartridge combined with regular size color cartridges holds down the cost. Ink quality is much better than the cheaper generic cardiges. My company uses blue as a signature logo color so I buy one of these combo packs and an additional cyan cartridge so that I always have a full set of cartridges on hand. As a REALTOR I often need to do color presentations on short notice. This ink used in my HP 8600 Pro Plus does a great job.

I use this product (inks) in the HP Office Jet Pro 8600 purchased at Staples. It is a great printer and the ink cartridges yeild as advertised. I have found that by the time an ink cartridge runs out I have forgotten what number the replacement is. With my old printer I could never forget as I was buying one every couple of weeks. I like the fact that each color has it's own cartridge. This keeps cost down because you only need to change the one that is empty. With the multi cartridge package it's easy to keep a replacement on hand. With the Pro 8600 system should you deplete the black ink you can print a document in black/greyscale or copy a black text document with just the color cartridges. This is a great feature of the printer and ink system.

It seems to me that the cartridges are planned to be replaced sooner than when originally designed and at the same time the prices have doubled since a few years back.

I love to get this combo pack as the 950XL black is twice as big and the others are regular size which fits my needs. It saves to buy the combo pk. Recommend it greatly.

Long lasting and reliable

My previous HP printer was an ink money sinkhole but this printer with this XL ink seems to last much longer (the printer is more high capacity and does a great job with scanning and copying). I feel it's a better value than in the past and with the offers that staples has--that makes it much more affordable. I read about the issue of the color cartridges not being XL but for my needs (regular printing not photos) the regular last a very long time. I haven't had any issues with ink quality the prints are crisp and reliable.
