ink for Officejet Pro 8600 printer

The ink in the combo pack is most likely the same as the same ink sold in seperate boxes. The combo pack saves you about $4 compared to buying the 4 individually. Not much of a deal. I waited until the store had a 20 percent sale on everything you could put into a reusable shopping bag so that saved me like $15 to $20. It's genuine HP ink so it hasn't caused any problems ever with my officejet pro 8600 printer.

XP 950XL 951 cartridges Combo Pack

The Combo Pack of HP 950XL and 951 Color Ink Cartridges for HP printers is the best value. Since the black ink cartridge is used the most the 950XL is my choice. The 951 color ink cartridges are also available as XL even though it takes much longer to consume the colored ink. When available it still makes sense for me to buy the XL even for the colored ink. Since I do a lot of printing I'm not concerned with the ink drying out but I would not recommend it to anyone who mainly uses black ink. When possible I wait for sales or specials so I can get the ink at a lower price. .
