I use this ink in my HP Officejet Pro Printer 8600 which is a really good printer for the needs in my home office. The print cartridges are very easy to load into the printer and it doesn't take any time for the printer to be ready to use after loading the cartridge. My previous printer had to go through a whole series of setup procedures after inserting a new cartridge which was somewhat aggravating. The cartridges seem to last a good long time before needing to be replaced. If I were to have a complaint I probably would like the three color cartridges to be high yield also but since colors do not get used as often as black I suppose it is not that important. Of course the price is a sore point but all cartridges seem to be priced in the same range so I guess there's not much to be done about that....

We have learned that if you want the best performance possible from your printer you will use the prescribed ink and not some cheaper substitute. Once upon a time I tried refills of used cartridges at a really low price. Really low performance is what I got. HP products have never disappointed.
