The ink cartridges are performing well. It would be expected because they are in a new printer. The proof will be if the printer still performs well and remains true to color after a few years. We have been faithful HP Printer users for the last several years. We didn't think our last one did quite as well as previous ones but when we found the new one to be such an excellent value for the price we decided to go ahead and purchase it. So far it is working great and the colors as well as the black and white pages are clean.
