There are third party inks at a fraction of the price of HP. I’ve used them and they work just as well. Didn’t have a choice because the chip on the black cartridge could no longer be read. HP was was my only choice on short notice.

I HAVE USED THIS INK FOR MANY YRS. MY ONLY COMPLIANT IS THE HIGH PRICE I HAVE TO PAY FOR 950/51.THE INK IS GOOD BUT DOES NOT LAST LONG. THE PRICE SHOULD BE LOWERED.
