I have been using HP 950/951 since I bought my hp printer. My ink ran out and as usual I reorder the same ink. After placing it in the printer a error message keep popping up and I was not able to print. I exchange the ink cartridges for another same problem with error message. I still don’t know why that happen or how to fix it.

HP ink works fine but their business model of “Cheap printer prices expensive ink cartridges doesn’t work for me. I also object to the electronic controls in the cartridges deciding when to shut off printing and not allowing the user to squeeze out one more page to finish a project.

HP Ink Cartridges

The HP ink cartridges are no mess easy to install and last a long period of time. My business consistently prints lengthy agreements and documents. The color cartridges last longer than my black but only because I use more black than anything to print. The cartridges are always available and if you return your empty cartridges to Staples you receive points for the recycling of the cartridges. Ink cartridges in general are expensive but these do last a long time so I think it is worth it.
