HP New ink cartridges do not seem to be full when I put them into my printer. I always check my put new ones in and you can see that they’re not full and this is a big disappointment because the ink is very expensive

Hi Victoria I think I can explain what you are seeing. I understand how disappointing having only half-filled cartridges feels. The ink cartridge might be filled to a certain percentage so the cartridge does not leak. Another possibility is that the printer is not properly registering the amount of ink. For this scenario please get in touch with support. Lastly if the cartridge leaked or were dry it would register as not full. A return is possible at www.staples.com/sbd/content/help/shipping/. For me this ink is a little on the pricey side! We don’t use the printer that often but it’s better to buy the package that includes all colors since it’s a little cheaper.
