Hello David I am sorry you are unhappy with the product price. I cannot adjust the cost of the cartridges but I can guide getting the most ink out of each cartridge. Here are some great ideas. Use sleep mode on the printer. Turning off the printer avoid exposing the printhead of the cartridge to air. Use a wet cloth or soft material to clean off dirt dust or old ink gently. Consider XL cartridges or value packs. Print only when you are 100% sure the copy is correct. Print preview is a great tool to assist with this goal. Amanda HP Care www.hp.com/support/

Nice package of ink cartridges but way overpriced. The ink cartridge set cost about half of what a complete new printer/scanner cost when new.
