Cost too much price is ridiculous for those small amounts of ink

Hello Danny I regret that you have had this experience. I can understand if you were disappointed when the cartridge seemed to run out too quickly. Ink usage usually determines how long each individual cartridge lasts. High-density prints (like images and graphs) will use more ink especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the surrounding air is dry. Here are some things that could help lower your ink usage: - Set the printer to draft mode whenever possible - Shut the printer down between uses - Always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying - Subscribe to Instant Ink then you only pay by the page and not for the cartridges themselves If the poor performance appears to be due to the individual cartridge itself consider returning it to the seller. The Cyan cartridge in this set was defective. It was getting caught on paper and causing repeated paper jams. I had to throw the cartridge out after only two days of use. That was expensive.

Hi Karen Wow a paper jam is no fun! I am surprised at this incident as it is pretty uncommon. I apologize for any wasted ink or paper. There are a few possibilities on what caused the jam. One reason could be the incorrect cartridge for your printer model. This scenario is unlikely because most printers will only print if the cartridges are compatible. More likely the ink cartridge wasn't firmly enclosed in the printer. When the printer started it tore the paper. I wish you hadn't thrown out the cartridge. You could have received an exchange if it was within the return window. Amanda HP Care www.hp.com/support/
