Ovearall I like this HP printer better than my previos Brother. After 3 months of moderate use I had to purchase all 3 color cartriges at cost of $100. I was surprised that the screen does not specifically tell you which cartridge is empty. I also tried to contact HP for an answer to no avail.

I consistently purchase HP ink for my HP printer. I feel that is the best way to maintain the consistent quality of the print which is excellent. The ink cartridges however are expensive. And I am seriously considering changing to a different printer the next time I purchase one probably one like the Epson which has the ink tank where the costs are lower for the ink replacements.
