I think it’s ridiculous gouging for consumers what replacing ink costs . Especially for the small amt. that is manufactured for home use printers . I love HP products but they are pricing out of the market especially for those on low income - and seniors .
Shortly after putting the new cartridges in my printer I started getting messages that my printer was offline. When I would check the printer’s screen it would say ‘One or more cartridges appear to be missing or damaged’. All of my cartridges were new and were placed in their correct position so I don’t know what’s going on.

Hi there Dora It is strange the cartridges caused the printer to go offline. Those two occurrences usually happen separately. It appears the cartridge got damaged when you inserted it or that the cartridge was not fully inserted. I think I have an idea of how to solve the problem. Take out the cartridge and restart the printer. Make sure the printer connects to the network. Then reinsert the cartridge. The message should disappear and the printer should operate normally.
