Since installation the printer will not print......No black printing is possible.

Hello Robyn I'm sorry that you didn't have a very good experience with one of the cartridges out of the set. That had to be disappointing. If you can't print black because that cartridge is defective contact the store that you bought it from. Ya know it's ink and as long as it comes out onto my paper in the right way I'm happy. I've had some weird issue with 564 black ink not being dispensed or streaking the page off & on. Cleaning my printheads repeated didn't help. Sometimes it resolves inexplicably and other times not. This has happened 3 times. Mystified but this most recent purchase of 564 Black was fine.
