The ink was if there was little to no ink in the new ink cartridge that I purchased.

Hello Vickie I notice you mentioned there was little ink in this cartridge. Was the printing light or did the ink just run out quickly? We want you to have a great printing experience. If the ink was light conduct the automatic maintenance and increase the print quality setting. If you want more extended use of the cartridge decrease the print quality setting. The price of the ink is ridiculous. And in less you use it all the time it just dries up. I can only seem to get a few quality pictures before I need more ink. Definitely not worth the cost

The HP 7500 series printers are becoming obsolete. I had just bought new cartridges and my 7520 Photosmart ceased functioning unrepairable. Wouldn't recognize the aftermarket printhead. OEM is obsolete. My advice is getting a newer model.
