The product itself is fine. The problem is it has become so ridiculously expensive that to buy four cartridges cost 2/3 of what the printer cost. We are going to have to change printers.

HP proprietary ink cartridges have always been of decent quality but they come with a very high price tag that seems to be going even higher. And their newest printers will REQUIRE HP cartridges ONLY. Time to show around....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Will not use anything else but the recommended ink for HP printer! I ordered a non HP ink and it smudged when printing! The HP ink does not smudge and print smoothly on paper!

The HP inks are quite good and easy to install. The reason I have deducted a star is cost. While other companies charge similar prices, you would think you were buying liquid gold instead of small quantities of ink.
