these replacements are very expensive and the ink dries up to fast i almost never use color in printing and yet have to replace the color cartridges 2-3 time per year. in theory you can use the printer in black/white only but mine will have annoying your low/out of ink message pop up every time and have to hit ok everytime to print next document very annoying..

not sure why in the heck ink is so dang expensive. You can buy a new printer for the same price. However it is NOT Staples fault. The ink made my printer work and no issues.
