PRINTER AND LIFE OF INK CARTRIDGES

I just purchased a new HP 8740 color printer which I believe to be great (as it prints and scans two sided papers without my having to flip the pages). The ink cartridges are less expensive than the ones I had with the photo printer and thus far (I had the printer two months) it has gone through one black cartridge. I use the machine on a daily basis and print quite a bit. I do highly recommend this printer. Frances
