I've had HP printers for years. I always have had good performance from them and they are still performing well when I upgrade. My black and color pages are perfect. I haven't kept track of how many pages I get from each cartridge so I cannot comment on cost.

I paid over $100 for this ink and the cyan blue was defective. After I spent about an hour trying to figure it out I called HP and they sent me a new cyan. Took about a week. Not sure how new right out of the box ink goes bad but it did.
