HP is probably no different than any other manufacturer of copy/scan machines in that they make an decent unit and sell it at an affordable price with the understanding they will make most of their profit in ink. My Office Jet Pro 7740 works fine but I have had to replace it after less than 4 years. I'm OK with that considering the price. But The cost of ink cartridges is ridiculous and the machine seems to go through them more and more quickly as time passes. Also they have you over the barrel in that they won't honor their warranty on the machine if you don't use their (very expensive) ink. As much as I like the machine I'm going to consider other brands for my next one. I'm a small business and don't have deep pockets for buying office supplies. I've got to believe there is something else out there that won't break the bank.

I bought replacement ink at sams club but it wouldn’t fit the printer it was suppisedly made for so I went to staples. Best price excellent customer service and most importantly it’s a high quality product that works!

I've used these printer cartridges for a number of years. They last pretty long and they are easy to install. Wish the price could be reduced. I definitely would recommend.
