Price for ink is ridiculous. More expensive than the printer was. Understand HP's business model of making money via after market supplies. Will be getting my future ink from other cheaper producers.

This printer is great! It is a little louder than our old one which was in an HP as well. It prints everything we need it to - even prints nice quality sketches and drawings that we needed. The color quality is great it does use quite a bit of color ink. There's only a few things that we have found so far: 1.) that it doesn't scan A3 (11" X 17") which is annoying 2.) it doesn't always seem to connect to our computers when we scan documents and 3.) it really does use quite a bit of ink when printing in color (even on draft mode). Other than that this printer is everything we needed and wanted for an upgrade!

Printing with these cartridges looks good. However they don’t seem to last very long at all. For the price (over $100) they are not very cost effective.

Though I do not do very much printing it seems my cartridges are always running out and the cost to replace them is astronomical. I had a Canon printer prior to this and the cost was very reasonable. I do not know why HP is so much higher than the competition. I see no difference in quality
