I'm only conveying what everyone knows. The cost is not Staples fault and the cartridges are a good product. However as a former brand exec it's a little painful to realize that most customers (I'm guessing) have negative thoughts - at least briefly - about HP cartridges every time they make a purchase. Does anyone buy these products and get a happy feeling about the brand? The more likely reaction is: "Oh well what choice did I have".
