High quality but very costly

I consistently purchase HP ink for my HP printer. I feel that is the best way to maintain the consistent quality of the print which is excellent. The ink cartridges however are expensive. And I am seriously considering changing to a different printer the next time I purchase one probably one like the Epson which has the ink tank where the costs are lower for the ink replacements.

The printer works fine for the price. When I set it up the ink cartridges that were included were all damaged so I had to go spend $100 to get more.
