My newest printer requires a different size than I’ve had deviously. The cartritidhes that came with the printer didn’t last very long. These are so expensive I’m hoping they last longer.

The three color cartridges worked fine but the printer didn't recognize the black cartridge. When I replaced the cartridge with another it worked fine so hopefully this was a fluke... but it was an expensive fluke!

Hi there David I think what you experienced is a cartridge recognition error. Although confusing this error has two possible solutions. I'm sorry this event happened to you. I would start with doing a printer restart and then try to put it in the cartridge holder. The other fix is to delete the most recent software updates. It's ok but not that easy to operate. I keep getting messages saying it need's my attention but I can never figure out what it's problem is. The manual is'nt too great so no help there.

Black cartridge failed to be recognized by the printer causing a lot of stress trying to trouble shoot multiple other potential problems. Had to get the black cartridge replaced to get back up and running.

Hello Vincent I read your review. It is odd that the black cartridge caused so many problems. The black cartridge is usually reset by taking it out and reinserting it.
