Purchased the multi pack and unfortunately the black ink produced a partial print. Tried shaking the cartridge and reinserting without success

Hello Janet It's unfortunate you experienced a partial print. I would love to help you as much as I can. First check the cartridge ink level in the printer. This gauge shows the percentage of ink left. If there is ink try cleaning the printer rollers of the printer. Printer maintenance helps after the previous step.
