The HP Ink is always expensive but you know that the printer will accept it as genuine. I have tried several of the aftermarket cartridges and they are not worth the trouble.

Still new and haven't had to change ink yet but print quality is very good and setup was easy using the software from HP. Didn't go for instant ink since it's a SOHO use level. Also didn't go for HP+ given the warnings from others about software it installs on the printer that we neither want nor need.

One of the black cartridges is defective and will not print. The other prints okay. These cartridges are far too expensive to include defective products. Extremely disappointed in HP; do not appreciate one bit losing this much money.
