The four pack is a better value except that you will run out of one of the colors before an other and will have to then buy the expensive single color.

The ink works well but does not seem to last long. I have encountered this with another HP printer so I think it may be an HP issue. I have also seen that the color is sometimes inconsistent.

I do not like the plastic part that you have to twist off to use your ink -- this one caused a major ink explosion. Not only did it get all over me I lost at least 1/2 the ink in the cartridge. That was last week and now my black is nearly out. So disappointing!

The "original" ink cartridges proved by HP on purchase of the printer ran out right away! Nuts! The new ones are still in place with only the "red "showing signs of going down
