I printed 4 pages using colored ink and my cartridge was empty. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what. I'm thinking it's time for a new printer with better ink.

Hello Kristen Four pages should not deplete an entire ink cartridge. The only way that would happen is if the cartridge leaked. Did you print all photos? Photos can use a lot of ink.
