This is how printer companies really make their money. It works for them. Paperless office? Just until you print your QR code and it takes 4 sheets of paper and they laugh all the way to the bank. Bitter? No just stating the obvious.

I was gifted this HP printer and it’s nice but will complain incessantly if you try to use 3rd-party or re-filled ink cartridges. HP’s marketing and product people obviously think that most people would rather over-pay for ink rather than have their printer constantly beep and in this case they’re right.
