I printed 5 pages of 8.5 X 11 Color photographs and the ink ran out and the last 3 prints were streaked! I am frustrated and becoming more and more aware that I am not getting the estimated number of prints from either black or color cartridges. Gilette produced higher-quality razor blades over time. HP is not following Gilette's recipe for success.

The cartigage was defected. It did not work. Only the back one. I guess I will have to buy a new one. I do not have black ink at this time only colored. I cant do photos and too old to learn how.

Hi Maria Technology can be confusing for a lot of users. We try to make our products simple to use. In this case you probably can't print photos because you don't have a black cartridge inside the printer. The best way to print photos is to exchange the black cartridge through Staples www.staples.com/sbd/content/help/shipping/.
