There is definitely not enough ink in these cartridges - Such a racket - as expensive as precious metals

Hi Lisa Our ink is valuable. Therefore I relate to your feelings about needing to get enough ink out of each cartridge. There are many hints out there to help you. Routine maintenance helps clean up dry cartridges. The XL versions are bigger and contain more ink. I hadn’t used the printer for almost 2 years. Took it out and no ink on the Printing. I had 2 year old remanufactured ink and it failed. Bought new remanufactured black ink which worked for a short while and then failed. Bought hp ink and it worked correctly right away.
