HP 64 was the wrong cartridge for my copier. I returned it for an HP62.

It appears your cartridge was fully functional and just mismatched for your printer. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do for you! print Quality is excellent; however the ink is not only pricy but also does not last very long before needing replacement. I regret buying the printer. and will eventually "dump it".

Hi Larry I am saddened to hear your sentiments about the product. Yes the ink is top quality. We can also make it last longer by changing strategies and habits. Print preview is an excellent tool for conserving ink. Rereading pages helps you catch errors. Infrequent printing use causes dry cartridges which customers think are empty. To make the cartridge last longer run printer maintenance. Remember that certain items like invites or labels use thicker paper. Thicker paper translates to move ink use. I hope this helps you reconsider your decision about the printer. Amanda HP Care www.hp.com/support/
