Hi there Howard If you are disappointed in the number of pages remedies are available. Start by planning every page. If you can avoid photos. Photos graphics and diagrams use a ton of ink. The next step is to take a look at the printer settings. Small adjustments can make significant differences. I would also check each new cartridge and ensure it is 100% when installed. I got these only because I had a big printing job. Used one entire color pack for 31 pages. Not cost effective but when desperate you do what you have to do.

Very dull. Had to adjust printer darkness settings all the way up and the copy was still light. Changed cartridge without any improvement

Hi there Alicia I'm not sure that addressing the darkness settings will improve print brightness. First off I would like to apologize for these circumstances. I understand that light ink can be frustrating. If you can increase the print quality setting. This setting makes the ink more vibrant. If that doesn't work try manually cleaning the printhead.
