Hi there Douglas To maximize the cartridge try to get every ounce of ink out. This process saves money but requires some planning on your part. If you can start by turning off the printer. Shutting down prevents the cartridge from drying. Manually clean the printhead before use. This method prevents the cartridge from drying.
