Hi there Steve With inflation I understand how you feel. Everyone is pinching pennies to cover costs. Printing is no different. To get more value: Buy XL cartridges. Cartridges are advertised as 600 pages for black 165 pages color. I get nowhere near those quantities on my printer 7855. < than 100 pages for black < than 50 pages color. The printer makes good photos and copies though.
