Color cartridage only lasted for seven 8 1/2” X 11” prints . The 9th print the colors had changed indicating the cartridge was done… also confirmed by the printer. I made an exchange on the Color cartridge and the same thing had occurred getting one more print out of that cartridge. I went later that day and purchase a color cartridge (regular) and ran 23 prints to complete the job and still have ink

Hi Carl It appears the color cartridge ran out. While each cartridge should last the same amount usage causes differences. For example if you printed five pages mostly in cyan the cyan would run out faster. It also depends on the dryness of the cartridge of the room and the dried ink on the printhead. I was sold the wrong cartridges for my printer in spite of providing the info on my printer. Can I bring them back albeit the packaging of the cartridges is now open?
