I hadn’t used the printer for almost 2 years. Took it out and no ink on the Printing. I had 2 year old remanufactured ink and it failed. Bought new remanufactured black ink which worked for a short while and then failed. Bought hp ink and it worked correctly right away.

Cartridges are advertised as 600 pages for black 165 pages color. I get nowhere near those quantities on my printer 7855. < than 100 pages for black < than 50 pages color. The printer makes good photos and copies though.

Very dull. Had to adjust printer darkness settings all the way up and the copy was still light. Changed cartridge without any improvement

Hi there Alicia I'm not sure that addressing the darkness settings will improve print brightness. First off I would like to apologize for these circumstances. I understand that light ink can be frustrating. If you can increase the print quality setting. This setting makes the ink more vibrant. If that doesn't work try manually cleaning the printhead.
