Here is a list of actions to prevent the ink from drying out or running out in the future. • The ink lasts based on printer use. Some types of printing cause more ink use. These include color printing thick paper large-size designs and more. If you can use black ink when possible. • Your printer use affects the cartridge. Leaving the printer on while idle increases the chance your ink dries out quicker. To get the most pages out of each cartridge turn off the printer when you are not actively printing. • Carefully planning each print saves on ink. Use the draft mode.
