These ink cartridges are great....very efficient...never have to worry about using them. I would recommend them to everyone. They last a long time and the money that one pays for them is not lost.

Great Ink Cartridges

I frequently purchase this ink when I am printing a lot of pictures for myself and my grandkids along with some of the email that I receive. These ink cartridges are handy easy to replace when empty and do not create a problem with getting ink on your fingers during the replacement. The ink cartridges last for a large quantity of printing and have sharp and long lasting color. Turning empty cartridges in for Staples rewards helps ease the price when buying replacement ink. I definitely recommend Staples for supplies and the rewards program is easy to use.

I've used off brand inks in my HP printers and was never happy with them. HP inks have always been great with no problems.

the black cartridge was XL; but the others were not!! I try to watch for that!! HP has done much better with the yield with the XL. Thanks.

IMPROVED OVER OTHERS

Replacing an older "all in one" has been a rewarding experience so far. Having only four cartridges to replace instead of five is a good feature but the prices still are high and that's not an improvement. This was easier to install to the MAC but some of the Touch Screen features are confusing. eventually a "Voice command" would be an improvement. The biggest drawback is not having an optional tray for smaller Photo paper as HP has always been known for it's "Photosmart" advantages. Buying the Combination Color Pac is great except after a while it is hard to balance the usage of more commonly used colors. Giving a discount for buying multiples should be a way to solve this weakness. There never should be a point where you "MUST" replace but just select a different color would be a smart improvement as interruptions are very frustrating just to stop working because one color has been exhausted.

I have HP printers and use nothing but HP ink replacements with them. HP has the most consistently excellent ink cartridges I've ever seen. I cannot think of any time one has failed me.

Incredible high yield

The yield on this ink is incredible! The claim is 2300 pages with the black but I have yielded 2500-2800 pages. I'm not really sure about the color yield but it definitely does what it advertises. I have made as many as 300 full solid color brochures for my business and still did not have to change the ink. I was amazed. There is no mess when changing the ink cartridge. It is easy to release the old one by simply pressing the cartridge once. The same goes for inserting the new one. I like to recycle my ink cartridges and there is no mess involved with these as with others. There is no leaking residue.
