I installed my first ink 2/14/13 and just now needed color the black maybe next month! I bought the XL size - really worth it.

The HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium Printer is an excellent product easy to use and understand. No warranty work has been done on it. It has met all my expectations. I've learned over tested/recorded time that it is cheaper to print my documents than to have them done by an outside vendor. When you buy printers you understand at the front end that ink cartridges are going to cost but it doesn't make sense that you can get the new printer for an exceptional price and not the ink! These companies should work as hard to keep their ink cost done as they do with their printers.

950 ink cartridge

Love these cartridges for my new printer. So easy to snap out and new ones in. No excess packaging to have to recycle take up much less room to store than the old ones (02) Love ordering online and having it at the door the next day - saves a trip in bad weather to buy them.

I have been using HP ink and toner products for over 20 years. The results have always been excellent! I have worked my way through HP printers beginning with DeskJet 812 and now use Office Jet Pro 8600 Plus. I highly recomment HP products especially the printers.

This product is great on replacement time not so as far as it's price point It is very crisp in its colors no running it makes for an excellent professional appeal and yet good enough for everyday use sharp and crisp in black and white just as in color unlike other HP printers that requires calibration after installation... immediately using up the ink upon installation this 8600 saves you in this regard so this can be weighed against cost it may or may not be a factor for some fyi.
