The XL size of the cartridge allows me to use all the color cartridge and replace both of them at the same time.

I am really dissatisfied with the standard yellow cartridge. I did not get 100 copies from the yellow cartridge. I personally feel it was defective but we all nothing the store will not take it back or replace it being it was used.

The ink cartridges are a very good product giving very clear and precise words lines and charts and photographs but I had not appreciated just how "ink hungry" the 8600 plus was going to be when I purchased it for our Home Owners Association. I would recommend this product over 'self fill' as the quality of the printer remains high but beware of the high print cost if you have a high throughput.
