HP 950XL/HP 951 Cartridges

This is my first time using the HP950XL/HP951 HIGH YIELD BLACK and STANDARD COLOR Ink Cartridges in the four pack. So far I am very pleased with the color yield as it gives me varied and true colors on my projects. I do use a lot of Black and usually do run out of it more often than the color cartridges. If I understand the instructions correctly I will not only just be able to replace only the BLACK when needed but the individual COLOR Cartridges as well when each is needed and this is a feature to be liked as cost is always a factor.

I started with an HP printer years ago but left the brand. Since coming back I find that the yield from the ink cartridges is better than to their brands.

These cartridges are of excellent quality. I like the concept of a separate cartridge for each color. I also like the high yield capacity allowing for longer periods of time between ordering. The installation is much easier and cleaner than previous cartridges I have used. Price was good when using the 20% discount as compared to other vendors including HP. The order arrived on the day promised by Staples. I was surprised when the delivery truck arrived at 8:30 PM. I thought I might not receive the cartridges on the day stated. Staples makes ordering easy and convenient.

Incomparable Service & Products

Our family has been so pleased with the "above and beyond" service we receive at your Staples on University in Highlands Ranch CO. And your staff always seems pleased to have us as customers (as opposed to other office supply stores we had used in the past). We have purchased at least several home office pieces of equipment from that store for our own use plus supplies. Staff was so great in helping us get a printer ordered as a gift to our daughter in MN. Please don't think that "our Staples" should be one that you would close.

Dependable ink

I've given up trying to save a few dollars on other choices. This is clean long-lasting and easy to replace. It just works perhaps because the cartridges are designed to work in my Hewlett Packard printer. No worries about smears or uneven inking. The combo pack also makes it easy to get the correct one for my printer. And the numbering system simplifies that as well. I may have to buy some black-only cartridges because so many of my pages are not color. So it's good that HP offers separate cartridges as well. But until then the combo is a more economical pick. Also I've been told that the high yield is a prudent choice. Pay a little more but get a lot more pages printed. Get a quality paper stock and photos come out great. Even on regular copy pager though the photos are worthy of posting on your refrigerator door.

Not much one can say about ink cartridges until you have had the chance to use it in the printer. So far I am please with the quality of the printing & the colors were true. The black print was crisp and sharp.
