These are brand new cartridges for me. I finally junked my previous printer for a new one and of course the cartridge numbers for ink were different. As expected I have received the same quality from Hewlett Packard with the new ink. I have always preferred to purchase the XL cartridges as it is the better buy for the dollar.

This is the ink packaging that I have been looking for. I didn't even know it was available until a Staples employee asked what I needed. He left and came back with the perfect ink package that wasn't even on the shelves yet.

After having the Staples re-fill I will only use the HP brand.This was a big mistake on my part. The re-fill "exploded" in my printer. I am still waiting for the credit to my credit card.Staples did take care of this in a very timely manner.
