I really like the HP 950 XL/951 high yield black and standard C/M/Y color ink cartridges combo pack. The black XL ink lasts for a long time. The colored ink cartridges are great because you may only have to change one color and then a month later the second or third. You can use them separately. The savings in price is good and they are very easy to load and change in my HP printer. When I had trouble loading the printer the HP service representative said to send in the ink cartridges and they would reimburse me free.

Great quality ink. Just wish the XL pack had all cartridges in XL not just the black.

HP ink makes copies look like the originals. Clean and crisp printing. Love this ink!

while not a bad value better to get the 950XL 951XL combo for more lasting print quantity per dollar spent. I would recommend all the XL combos rather than save a few dollars immediately on the non-XL combos. also fewer trips back to the store for more cartridges. recycle used cartridges to get "points" or money back on your membership card. definitely worth the effort. all in all staples offers decent value on their printer ink. the reps are also helpful if you don't know exactly which cartridge is compatible with your specific printer.

I have been in the IT field for many years and have had experience with many other printing products. I have found HP to be one of the best if not the very best.

The colors are not as vivid as on the screen. The colors come out flat/dull. I tried different print settings BEST Photo etc. and it doesn't matter. Purples are not purple they are more like a matte finish lavender. Same for Blue I like bright blue and it comes out pastel. I just don't know what to do. Then the cartridges run low fast they don't seem to last especially the magenta and the blue. I do a lot of postcard printing (4 to a page) and posters and I want zing and flare so the posters get noticed and it just isn't happening.

Expensive but lasts a long time

At first I thought this product was too expensive but compared to other printers I've used in the past I am very pleased. This ink seems to last much longer & I'm not having to change it very often. Thumbs up!
