The ink cartridge fits easily into the printer. It is neatly labeled so the black and colors are not mixed up. It seems to be printing fine in color and on the gray scale. Not sure how long it will last since it was just replaced.

HP Printer Ink

I have been using HP printer ink for twenty years. HP Ink Cartridges are simple to use and are reliable. I find that the ink cartridges have a long life for normal use and when my printer tells me it's time to change a cartridge I simply remove the old one and pop in the new. The print quality is perfect. I use HP ink cartridges for printing documents as well as printing photographs. I recently downloaded a picture of my granddaughter and printed it out using HP ink. I placed the photograph in a frame and it looks like a professional photographer studio did it. I will continue to use HP Ink Cartridges for all my printing needs.

It is so convenient to be able to obtain the required supplies needed in our rural community. We are thankful to have a Staples located in our county seat. If you do not have a store near you order on line. Shipping is fast so why drive? Thanks Staples.

HP 950/951 Ink

Relatively new printer and ink cartridges for me. They seem to last quite awhile and the finished printing is quite good. I do use heavy bond paper which I believe helps with the absorption of ink. Cartridges are on the higher priced side but all ink replacements seem to be that way. I've been happy with HP printers the first lasting over 10-years then it just stopped. I'd recommend HP printers/ink cartridges. I've never used substitute cartridges which I assume made for a longer life of my printer(s).

The ink tanks should have the letter of the corresponding ink color on the outside of each tank so that one know what color it is that is empty. At this time the HP display states the letter that is low and then when you look at the ink tanks it shows a the ink tank colors but not the letter. This is an annoying issue with me as then I have to go thru taking each tank out to see the corresponding letter for the color. It would be great if there was more detail taken to correcting the ink tanks....also would like to have ink tanks that last longer especially in the colors as only black in in XL.

I print on average 30+ pages a day. These cartridges lasted me almost a year.
