I have been buying HP Ink for about 20 years - both at my place of employment (I am currently retired) and for home use. In all this time for all the printers that we had at work I have never encountered any problems with the ink or cartridges.

Ink combo pack seems like a good buy

The HP 950XL/951 combination pack of a high yield black cartridge plus 1 each "standard" size color cartridges (yellow magenta cyan) for my OfficeJet Pro 8100 printer seems like a reasonably priced good choice for the way we use the printer (mostly black&white with occasional color use) at least so far. Other reviews have said that the OJ pro 8100 is relatively stingy with ink use and I tend to agree. If I could only get over the thought that this combo pack costs almost as much as I paid for the printer I'd give it 5 stars :-)

We go through about 4 cartridges a month and have considered another machine but this machine gives quality prints and is easy to use. The ink is great and there are no problems.

I have a home based business and always rely on HP printers and HP ink cartridges to make it all come together. I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 which uses HP 950/951 ink cartridges. They last a long time and give plenty of warning when getting low on a certain color. I print color flyers and love the brilliant color the HP ink provides. I also print information for buyer's and seller's and the quality is very professional and I'm proud to include in my presentations. HP Ink is a true business partner and very reliable.

Easy to use - long lasting.

I really like the High Yield cartridges. They last quite a while and the quality is sharp and clear. I also enjoy how easy it is to replace the depleted cartridges...takes only seconds! I have been using HP printers for quite a number of years and these new cartridges are easier than ever to change out. With the combo pack having a high yield black cartridge and standard color cartridges I find they need to be replaced at one time which I find to be very convenient in our small office.

Always go with Name Brand Ink

We buy all of our ink for our printers from Staples. We had a company call us and promise their ink would be better and last longer. They said they would send us 3 cartridges for us to try. They did and then immediately billed it to our credit card. The ink didn't print even a fourth as long as the name brand. We learned a very valuable lesson to only buy the name brand and we love shopping at Staples because if it doesn't work they will refund our money. Staples is our store. We love the people that work there and they are always so helpful.
