Definitely worth getting the XL in black

Let's face it-we print more words than pictures on average so it truly pays to get the XL in the black cartridge. As the color ink cartridges run out you can replace them and still be using the XL black cartridge. It's always good to have an extra cartridge of each ink color so as to not run out at all then when you go to Staples to replenish your ink you recycle your old cartridges and get rewards credit--it's a win-win situation.

High Yield is the way to go with HP Ink

I was reluctant to buy the HP printer and ink because I alway had Lexmarks and didn't want to change. However this printer is the best I've had in 24 years -- and the High Yield Black and Color is on point ! Colors never fades or splotch even when you are close to empty. The high yield lasts longer that any other high yield ink cartridges and the black is really black (not off-black) and and doesn't streak ! It drys fast when printing multiples (I print flyers front and back 50-100 at a time). Had I known I would have purchased HP years ago !!.

It is really sad that the price of ink is almost $100. Sometimes you can buy a whole new printer for that price. The HP printer is pretty nice and has all the functions you need to run a home office. The HP ink cartridges produce a very nice quality so I don't mind paying for it. Wish it was cheaper but the quality is worth the price.

This ink drys very quickly. Most efficient just as toner. Cost less comes in XL size as well regular to maximize savings. Color ink makes photos look naturally clear. Ink levels can be seen on any device's printer computer IPad and any smartphone.
