I print at least a ream of paper a day and I do find that I seem to use less ink. I am purchasing the ink about once a month.

HP Ink what not to like - well price!

I bought the cartridges got home and discovered that I had a card with a 20% discount on it. Bummer! I will say that I really prefer HP printers to any other brand (I've had Epson and Dell and others whose names I do not recall which tells you something about how impressive they were). HP printers just keep on keeping on. The print quality is excellent. They don't seem to be very picky about the paper. The actual price of the printers gives great value for money; I guess they are adopting the razor vs. razor blades model for the ink pricing.

I find that this is a great deal! Buying the ink individually is much more costly. It also keeps you running to the store for cartridges and can interfere with printing projects. These cartridges last so much longer than the ones made for the 700 and 600 HP series printers. It is also more convenient to only have four cartridges to worry about..whereas with the previous model printers there were at least six colors and then the black cartridge as well....I was also always running out of one color while others were still printing . There was also no pack for these cartridges that included the black ink...and certainly no XL size...so I and to always remember to buy black. I always keep an extra Combo Pack on hand...just in case.

We use this for printing various graphs and charts. Does the job quite well. doesn't bleed with regular copy paper that we've found. High yield is the way to go to save a few pennies.

The HP 950 XL /951 High Yield Black and Standard Combo pack is an efficient way to purchase our ink for our HP Office Jet Pro 8600. We have found the price and convenience to be a reasonable value when we make the purchase at Staples. In addition the un wrap is easy and it is one two and three for installation. We have found zero problems loading and unloading and no other printer or printing problems as well. Recently we participated in one of the their promotions where we acquired additional points for future discounts. If you are at least a moderate user this is a good buy.
