HP cartridges are long-lasting

I recently purchased a new HP 8610 printer. I am still using the print cartridges that came with the printer. I do a lot of copying and they are still going strong. I also purchased the combo 4/pack but haven't had to use it yet. These HP cartridges are all I have ever used since HP printers are all I have purchased.

I have had no issues with the ink cartridges. The color printed copies however are rather faded. This may be the HP Copier that we just purchased though. I purchased the printer and these required inks to print fliers for my daughters political campaign. The fliers as I said were rather faded upon printing - even using 'best' print quality. I do a lot of photo copying and will be trying that out in the near future once election day has passed. It will be interesting to see how clear and bright the photos are with this set of ink. I am hopeful that the photo paper may produce a good photo print. Suggestions for improvement? More volume on the colored inks!!!

I have learned (through experience) that it is always best to use the correct ink for one's printer. Hewlett Packard even tells me when I am about to run out of a color without stopping the printer. Staples and Hewlett Packard put my inks on sale at a great price often enough so I am able to afford the supply I keep. It makes it easy for me since I make all my own greeting cards Christmas is a big one and I do all the newsletters and bulletins for our church. There was one Christmas I ran out of ink at a time when the stores were closed. Never again!

very expensive. Never paid this much before for ink. Clerk said it would last a long time but doesn't appear to be lasting as long as former cartiridges for last printer.
